The small town Sukosan is well known for the Marina Dalmacija, which is one of the biggest yacht port in the Adriatic Sea. Sukosan is located about 11 km in the south of Zadar and is also very close to a couple of national parks which you can visit during your sailing holidays.
The Marina Dalmacija, which is a foot walk away from the town, can host 1200 boats on the water and up to 500 beached on shore. You can find all technical services as well as restaurants, small shops and charter companies directly in the marina. Even boats up to 25m can get lifted in this impressive marina. In Sukosan you can spend your evenings in one of the countless local restaurants that are famous for their typical fish dishes and regional specialties. Around Sukosan there are sandy, pebble as well as rocky beaches that assure every sailor to find his favorite place to relax.
