„Charter Del Mar“ is a charter base in the Real Club Nautico Palma on the beautiful Balearic Island of Mallorca. After having worked in the charter business for many years, Gerton Bijlholt and Judith Poorting founded their own charter base (www.charterdelmar.com) in the season 2014. You can find them at a top location with excellent infrastructure and with their own office, workshop and stockroom on Mallorca at Real Club Nautico Palma.
Their fleet consists of six Dufour Grand Large sailing yachts ranging from 33 up to 57 feet. All their Dufours are thoroughly equipped with a full batted mainsail (one 410 with furling mainsail available), the larger ones with electric winches and all of them are fitted with a gennaker.

Many functional and convenient features speak for their ships – for instance, already from the smallest 335 model you can enjoy the luxury of a spacious cockpit with a proper table and two steering wheels, retractable bowthruster, heating and a lot of stowage room. The cockpit on the 410 and 500 models can be easily converted into a large lounge to relax. Not only a big swimming platform is standardly present, also on many other practical details no compromises were made. All ships are equipped with a 12V – 220V converter which allows you to charge your electronic devices as well as to use the Nespresso coffee maker, installed on all ships, even whilst being anchored and without shore power.
The Dufour 500 enjoys the luxury of having an extra refrigerator fitted inside the cockpit table which saves you from having to go belowdecks into the kitchen again. Furthermore their current flagship disposes of a gas grill (hot plate) integrated in the stern for those cosy grilling parties. The other models avail of the possibility to install a separate grill on the ship’s stern railing. All yachts have a large stowage compartment in the salon-bilge ideally to store provisions, wine bottles, water, etc. or even a shoe rack.
