One of the cleanest and most calmest parts of the Adriatic beckons you to spend a holiday in what the Croatians consider the most exclusive resorts on the Adriatic coastlines. So come to marina Krvavica for some well-deserved rest and relaxation.
Location & Approach You can find Krvavica marina in the central part of the Croatian coast, near the resort of Baska Voda, in a section called the Makarska Riviera after another neighboring resort, this time to the south.
This particular part of the Adriatic is known for its calm, crystal clear waters that wash white pebble beaches, considering that it’s part of the “Biokovo-Mountains” nature reserve. What this means for the visiting is a spectacular scenery made up of sloping mountains covered with dark green pine forests and of course, lots of fresh air and lots of peace and quiet.
The coastline is full of small bays where you can anchor your boat away out of sight, but the marina itself is located in a fairly straight stretch of coastline, making it quite exposed if it weren’t for the breakwater, which protects the berths and has a northwestern entry point, adjacent to the shore.
Infrastructure & Ambience This is a small marina by capacity standards, with just 150 berths with electricity and water, but size isn’t always everything, because you’ll only find top quality services here. Krvavica marina also comes equipped with an 8t crane and with dry docks as a repair shop in case your boat needs some attention.
Not only your boat is looked after here, but also your crew since there are 3 restaurants, 2 cafes and even a bowling ground where you can have a little fun when not at sea. There’s also a diving club for those enthusiasts that can’t resist the temptation of the transparent blue waters. The beach here is also top quality and stretches for an incredible 10 km, enough to give everyone more than enough space or privacy when sunbathing.
For even more fun, you can always take the short trip to either neighboring town, such as Baska Voda or Makarska, which are considered some of the most exclusive resorts on the Croatian coast, hence the given name “Riviera” which would refer to the equally exclusive French coastline. Among the top preferred activities on land of tourists there is bike riding on trails hidden along the wooden slopes of the coastline. Also, you’ll find lots of Roman ruins worth seeing scattered all over the coast.
