Kavas Yachting is a Greek charter company with seat in Kalamaki, Athens.


Vaggelis Kavas, once a Greek Naval Officer, started his boat rental business in the year 1985 with a 30 feet sailing boat. Nowadays the Kavas charter fleet has more than 50 sailing yachts. The size of boats range in between 36 and 60 feet.
 

What type of boat rentals are provided by Kavas Yachting?

Kavas yachting offers bareboat and skippered yacht charters on sailing yachts. You can hire monohull sailboats or catamarans. The charter boats of Kavas can be rented on a weekly basis. The usual departure day is on Saturdays, the yacht needs to return to the homebase on Friday evening. Other boat rental agreements might be possible depending on the charter customers preferences.
 

Does Kavas also provides other yachting services?

Besides boat rentals, Kavas Yachting also is well established for crane services in Lefkas and the Marina Alimos in Kalamaki. The company is also known for professional yacht services, like maintenance and boat repairs.

The boat fleet consist mainly of the Sun Odyssey models of the manufacturer Jeanneau, the Oceanis serie built by the shipyard Beneteau and sailing catamarans of the brands Bali and Lagoon.

Where are the rental bases of Kavas Yachting in Greece?

Kavas Yachting operates their yacht charter business from 4 different ports in Greece. The main charter base is in the Marina Alimos in Kalamaki, Athens. From Kalamaki boaters can start for their boating holiday into the Saronic Gulf and the Cyclades Islands of the Aegean Sea.

The boat rental base of Kavas in the Marina Lefkas is perfect to depart for a yacht holiday to the Ionian Sea. Lefkas is perfectly situated in the centre of the Ionian Islands.

Another destination that is served by Kavas, is the Marina in Kos. The island of Kos is situated in the Dodecanese Islands. This group of twelve islands is aligned along the southeast side of the Aegean Sea.

A smaler charter base of Kavas was opened in Skiathos, from where sailors can explore the Sporades during their sailing vacation.
